Ever wondered how shoe width is measured? Or what exactly ‘2E width’ means? There are established metrics to determine length and width in shoes, primarily the girth around the ball joint (the widest part of the foot) and the distance from heel to ball joint. Here at Hitchcock Shoes we grade the width of our women’s wide shoes from 2E (EE) width to 8E.  Besides our collection of women’s 2E (ee)and 3E (eee) wide shoes we have also carefully curated from selected brands such as Propet, SAS, New Balance, Cobb Hill and more. However, only Hitchcock Shoes has women’s wide shoes not just in 2E (ee) and 3E (eee) widths but in 4E, 6E and 8E as well.
